How to Download Facebook Videos (Step-by-Step Guide)
Saving a Facebook video for offline viewing takes less than a minute once you know the trick: you never need an app, an account, or a browser extension — just the video's link.
Step 1 — Copy the video link
On any public video, Reel or Watch clip, click the Share button and choose Copy link. On the mobile app the option is in the same share sheet. The link will look like facebook.com/watch/?v=…, facebook.com/reel/… or fb.watch/… — all of them work.
Step 2 — Paste it into the downloader
Head to the homepage, paste the link into the input field and press Download. Within a few seconds you'll see the video's title, thumbnail, duration and every available quality.
Step 3 — Pick a format

Which link formats work?
You do not need to clean up the link — paste it exactly as Facebook gives it to you. All of these resolve to the same video: the full desktop URL with tracking parameters (?__tn__= and similar), the short fb.watch/… share link, the mobile m.facebook.com address, and the new facebook.com/share/v/… format. If a page shows several videos, open the specific one first so the link points at that clip and not the feed.
Desktop or mobile — does it matter?
No. The process is identical on Windows, macOS, Android, iPhone and iPad, because everything happens in the browser. On a phone the saved file lands in your Downloads folder or gallery; on a computer it goes to your usual downloads location.
