This TikTok video downloader saves any public TikTok in two steps: copy the video’s link, paste it into the box above and press Download. What this TikTok video downloader can save
Any public post: ordinary videos, reposts, duets and stitches exactly as they were posted, photo posts and slideshows (every picture, at the size TikTok stores it), and the sound of any post as an MP3. Every kind of TikTok link works: the address from the browser, the short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links the app’s Share → Copy link gives you, and links shared from TikTok Lite.
Posts from private accounts, videos shared only with friends, Stories and LIVE broadcasts are not offered. TikTok shows those only to the accounts their creator allows, so this site cannot reach them. Age-restricted posts are different: those can be saved here too.
The quality you get: HD 720p, 1080p and no 4K
TikTok keeps several versions of each video, and the list shows every one with its exact size. HD versions are listed first, sharpest first, then the SD ones. The sharpest H.264 version, usually HD 720p (on some posts 576p), is the format every phone, computer and TV plays. Where the creator uploaded in full HD, there is also a 1080p version. TikTok stores its 1080p in HEVC (H.265), a newer format that makes the file smaller: on a 10-second clip we measured 2.1 MB for 720p in H.264 and 1.3 MB for 1080p in HEVC. HEVC plays on iPhone, Mac and most Android phones from the last few years; some Windows computers need Microsoft’s free HEVC extension first.
TikTok has no 4K. A site that offers a TikTok in 4K is enlarging a smaller picture, which makes the file bigger without making it any sharper. Nothing is converted or compressed again here: you receive the exact file TikTok streams.
No TikTok watermark, no app, no login
When you save a video with TikTok’s own Save button, TikTok stamps its logo and the creator’s username on the picture, moving from corner to corner, and adds an end card. The file you get here is the version TikTok’s player streams to everyone watching in the app, which carries no such mark. Nothing is removed or edited: text or another app’s logo that was part of the video when it was posted stays, because it is part of the picture.
You never need a TikTok account or the TikTok app here, and this site never asks for a password. Treat any downloader that asks for your TikTok login, or wants you to install an app or a browser extension, as a warning sign.
Saving TikTok videos on iPhone
Use Safari. When you press Download, the iPhone saves the video in the Files app, in the Downloads folder. To move it to Photos, open it in Files, tap the share button and choose Save Video. A picture from a photo post is saved the same way, with Save Image.
Saving on Android or a computer
On Android, Chrome and most other browsers put the file in the Downloads folder, and the gallery shows it a few seconds later. On a computer it lands in your usual download folder. The file is named after the account and the caption, so you can find it again, and you can rename it freely without affecting the video. If a 1080p HEVC file will not open on a Windows computer, install the HEVC extension or save the 720p version instead.
Photo posts and slideshows
Paste the link of a photo post once. Every picture in it is listed with its own Download button, numbered in the order TikTok shows them, so you can keep all of them or only the ones you want. The post’s sound sits below them as an MP3.
TikTok to MP3: saving just the sound
Every post with a sound offers it as an MP3. For an “original sound”, that is the video’s own audio; for a song, it is the part of the song TikTok plays under the post. TikTok often stores the sound as an MP3 already, and then you get that file exactly as it is; otherwise it is converted on this site’s server and deleted after 72 hours, so download it straight away.
When a TikTok link will not work
A link fails when the post is not public: an account set to private, a video shared only with friends, a post that was deleted, or one not available in your country. LIVE broadcasts and Stories are not posts. The message under the box says which of these it is.
To check a link yourself, open it in a private browser window: if TikTok plays the post there, or asks you to log in only to confirm your age, the link works here. If TikTok is busy and asks the site to wait, the message says so; try again in a few minutes.
Is this TikTok video downloader safe?
There is nothing to install, so there is nothing that could stay on your phone or computer. The site never asks for your TikTok login, and it reads only public posts. When you press Download, the file is fetched from TikTok’s own servers at that moment and passed straight to you; no copy is kept here. The only file this site makes is an MP3, and it is deleted after 72 hours.

A saved TikTok is yours to watch offline, keep for reference or use in your own private projects. It still belongs to the person who made it: ask before posting it anywhere else, credit the creator by their @name when you do, and never use someone else’s video to pass yourself off as them or to sell something.
