DMCA Policy
GetFbVideo respects intellectual property rights.
One fact shapes everything below: we do not host Facebook videos. When you download a file it is delivered from Facebook's own network, not from a copy sitting on our servers. The only thing we hold is a short-lived cache — the information needed to find a video, and converted audio files, both deleted automatically within hours.
That means a takedown here cannot remove a video from Facebook. If the video itself should come down, the notice has to go to Meta. What we can do is stop this service from processing it, which is what the process below is for.
Filing a notice
If you believe this service was used to infringe your copyright, send a notice to support@getfbvideo.pro containing all five of the following:
1. Identification of the copyrighted work. 2. The exact URL or URLs involved — the Facebook address of the video, not a search result or a screenshot. 3. Your contact details, including an address we can reply to. 4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law. 5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
A notice missing any of the five has to be answered with a request for the rest, which only delays it. Complete notices are acted on quickly.
Our response
Valid notices are processed promptly. Cached conversions relating to the work are purged, and where appropriate the source URL is blocked from being processed again — so a later attempt to run the same link through this service fails rather than quietly succeeding.
Because we host nothing, there is no public copy of the work here to remove — the effect of a notice is on this service's ability to process that source, not on the video's availability on Facebook.
