Terms of Service
By using GetFbVideo you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Acceptable use
You may only download content you own, content licensed to you, or content whose rights holder has given you permission to save. You are solely responsible for how you use the files you download.
In practice that covers most of what people actually do here: keeping a copy of a video you posted, saving a talk or interview to watch offline, or archiving something you have permission to use. Downloading copyrighted content without permission may break the law and the terms of the platform it came from. The tool cannot tell the difference, so the judgement is yours.
Service availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may throttle, limit or suspend it at any time to protect the infrastructure — during an unusual traffic spike, for example, or while Facebook is returning errors.
There is no uptime guarantee and no support commitment attached to a free service. If a download fails, the practical remedy is to try again later.
Prohibited behaviour
Three things are not allowed: automated scraping of this service, attempts to bypass the rate limits, and using the service for infringing purposes.
The first two are worth spelling out, because people ask. There is no public API, no batch mode and no bulk endpoint. Scripted use is what forces rate limits to tighten for everyone, so it is blocked rather than metered.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetFbVideo is not liable for damages arising from use of the service. We do not host the video files, we do not control what is posted to Facebook, and we cannot vouch for the rights attached to anything you choose to save.
